About Thierry
Thierry Pollet received the masters degree of electrical engineer from the University of Ghent 1989 and obtained an MBA on entrepreneurship from the Flanders Business School in 2015.
He has more than 20 years of experience in innovation management, product management and R&D management for ICT and energy industry. He successfully developed digital strategies and delivered new product and services to leading companies such as Alcatel-Lucent, Toshiba (Landis & Gyr), ABB, and Hitachi Energy.
He has a track record of successfully implementing and managing complex projects, driving new revenue, operational efficiency, improved quality and security.
He takes pride in combining system thinking with an outcome-oriented mindset, able to engage and work with the various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Thierry Pollet is currently with Huawei Digital Power where he is developing the European market to bring more renewables into the energy mix by integrating inverter-based renewable energy (PV) and large-scale storage into electrical grids.
