Mesbah will address the approach he has taken and the issues he has considered in blending systems thinking with enterprise architecture in the context of upstream oil and gas independents. In particular, he will explain the conceptual and pragmatic challenges of integrating systems approaches that focus on inter-subjective and social communication (including the VSM and SSM) with enterprise architecture approaches based on formal semantics.
Mesbah Khan is a student of systems thinking and enterprise architecture working in various commercial and technical roles in the oil industry for the past decade.
