System Shapes, Orbital Perspectives and Spheres
Reflection from a first-year apprentice on Holism, how zooming in/out can also miss the information required as this perspective can be the same as standing behind something with the same blind spot believing we have changed vie . It leads to discuss systems as conceptual three-dimensional shapes where an orbital perspective could be required and even looking 'up' at a system may reveal dysfunction which appears functional when looking down and that depending on your level in the system the view of systems above/below will vary and how shapes above/below structurally block another's view. How orbital viewpoints and the idea of systems as spherical can allow for traversing a leap in logic which makes nosense until you walk along the path. How an orbital can assist in viewing the same thing differently. And dimensionality allows and understanding whether a line we draw has depth or height when we change our view .It is intended for discussion and reflection as a first-year apprentice and is by no means finalised, but to open up around if up and down is truly enough. And if potentially we are trying to force something three-dimensional into a two-dimensional format with diagrams.
