Systems thinking and cross-disciplinary insight
Now to Then and Back Again (with a very intention reference to Tolkien) takes up the challenge of relating systems thinking principles to everyday life. "As a Navy man, nautical analogies always appealed to me," says author, presenter and consultant Matt Weilert, head of Systems Thinking Institute and Board Chair of the non-profit STETA Group, a chamber of commerce for risk.
"'Climbing the steps of the lighthouse' allows us to see over the fog of everyday chatter, beyond the horizon of silo thinking and recognize the objective, universal truths God writes on each of our hearts. As we ascend each level, windows give us a glimpse of a more distant horizon, expanding our view of the world.
"Once we've arrived at the lens room, we can see 'over the horizon' of our former perspective yet still recognize the familiarity of our surroundings below, so those who are alive & awake can bring this increased perceptiveness to all walks of life."

4) 19-element time-shifting model (Jeopardy-like query for 8-letter Greek word that means a part represents the whole)
5) Cross-disciplinary insight
There will be brief Q&A after each segment rather than just at the end to encourage thoughtful questions that build on each other.
